The ideal candidate has an excellent eye for clean, purposeful design and has the skills to translate project requirements into user-centric design solutions. Areas of focus include: wireframing and prototyping, user interface design, card design, and website enhancements/updates.
Work with various business partners, clients, and leadership to translate concepts into sketches, wireframes, and interactive prototypes.
Create new experiences and enhance our web and mobile applications.
Participate in design thinking workshops, stakeholder, and client meetings.
Present design concepts, user needs and design rationale to business stakeholders to ensure designs meet business strategies, timelines, and needs.
Research and testing throughout the design process to gather feedback, identify opportunities and validate designs.
Apply feedback with design solutions.
Create product and feature specifications, UI patterns, and style guides to supplement prototypes.
Hand off production files, documentation, and specs for developers.
Work closely with development team to ensure that design specifications are implemented.
Define and maintain UX design patterns and standards.
Monitor and have knowledge of wider industry UX trends and relevant technology trends.
Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design, User Experience, Human Interaction, Computer Science, or related field.
Proficiency in Sketch, InVision, or related design and prototyping tools.
Experience with content management systems.
Proficiency in visual design, typography, and composition.
Familiarity with designing for accessibility.
Understanding of responsive web design.
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong attention to detail, a positive attitude, and a team player.
Exceptional organizational skills with ability to work on several projects simultaneously.
Portfolio of work demonstrating strong analytical skills and great interaction design.
Self-motivated and action-oriented mindset with high sense of personal accountability.
Able to work both independently and collaboratively (and be driven by group critique).
